We have 2 different turbine wheels for the Garrett GT35R GTX35R dual ballbearing turbo that are direct fit and one that is an upgrade that requires machining. We have the original GT35R 10 blade turbine and the D5 5+5 blade GT35R turbine inspired by the Xona rotor turbo.
The GT35R D5 5+5 turbine wheel has 5 major and 5 minor blades which make this turbo capable of fast spool up and increased maximum horsepower capability. The 5+5 turbine is a great upgrade if you want a little more horsepower capability out of your GT35R turbo without having to machine to a larger turbine wheel. The GT35R D5 turbine has a smaller 1/2 inch nut incomparison to the factory 10 blade turbine that had a 5/8 nut. The 67mm x 74 GT35R turbine has a 3/4” nut. The smaller nuts are reflecting the size of the hub of the turbine. The smaller the turbine hub the more room for air flow which increase overall horsepower and air flow.
We also have a 67 x 74mm GT35R 10 blade turbine wheel upgrade that does require machining for it to fit. T
