There are at 3 major variations of the 6.7 turbo rebuild kit.
6.7 Cummins variation number 1: 2007 - 2012 HE351VE
2007 - 2012 6.7 Cummins engines on the Dodge Ram pickup and cab and chassis models use an HE351VE turbo rebuild kit which could have 15.8mm standard journal bearings or 16.05 mm oversized journal bearings. The oversized journal bearings are used on turbos that are stamped TS1 on the back of the bearing housing and were usually remanufactured turbo chargers. The HE351VE has “Holset” embossed on the compressor housing and does not have a tag on the compressor housing.
6.7 Cummins turbo rebuild kit variation number 2: 2013 - 2018 HE300VG
2013 -2018 Dodge Ram Cummins pickup and cab and chassis came with an HE300VG turbo. There are 3 versions of HE300VG bearing housing and matching plates (located behind the compressor wheel) for the Dodge Ram, though all 3 variations use the same rebuild kit with standard or oversized journal bearings. The turbo rebuild kits for the Dodge Ram HE300VG 2013 - 2018 have the variation of standard: 15.8mm and oversized:16.05mm journal bearings. The HE300VG thrust bearing is different than the HE351VE because it has a wider opening for the oil feed. The HE300VG also has 2 front piston ring seals and 2 Rear piston ring seals. The 3rd variation is the 2019+ HE300VG, which is similar for version 2 HE300VG except the journal bearings are wider and the collar is 1mm shorter. I’m in the process of developing the parts for the 3rd variation 2019 - 2025.
