Holset HE351CW Turbo Specs

The 2003 - 2007 3rd Gen Dodge Ram Cummins came with 3 different turbo chargers. The 2003 - 2004 had the HE341 turbo which had a 54mm or 56mm compressor wheel and the 2004.5 - 2007 had an HE351CW turbo that came with a 59.96mm x 86mm compressor wheel.

2003 - 2004 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins HE341 Turbo Specs: 54 x 78mm 7+7 blade compressor wheel or 56 x 78mm 7+7 blade compressor wheel 58mm x 65mm 12 blade turbine wheel 

2004.5 - 2007 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins HE351CW: Compressor wheel 59.96mm x 86mm 7+7 blade; 58mm x 65mm 12 blade turbine 

Special Notes: The HE341 54mm x78mm 7+7 blade compressor wheel is the same compressor wheel used in 1999 - 2002 HY35 and HX35. The 56mm x 78mm compressor wheel is not as common and is not used in other model turbos that I’m aware of. 

The HE351CW 59.96mm x 86mm compressor wheel is the same compressor wheel used in some HX40 turbos and it’s the same compressor wheel used in HE351VE and most HE300VG turbos. HE300VG turbos that were on the cab and chassis Dodge Ram Cummins trucks had a smaller compressor wheel measuring 58mm x 86mm.
